Competitive examinations nowadays have become a procedure of recruitment, admission for higher studies in this field. Questions asked in these exams are of objective type, many in numbers and varied in nature, which require quick answering within a limited period of time. ICAR, New Delhi has been conducting several examinations in the field of JRF, SRF, NET, ARS etc. Moreover, several state agricultural and horticultural universities in India are also conducting entrance examinations for admission to higher studies. We have made an attempt to compile all the basic and latest information about all flower crops in the form of a question bank. This will be highly helpful for the students who are preparing for JRF, SRF, NET, ARS and examinations leading to admission for higher studies. At this juncture, we would like to thank all the staff and students of Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Horticultural College and Research Institute, TNAU, Coimbatore who extended cooperation during preparation of this book.
