Recently, the collaboration between theory and experimentsin high-energy physics has become again more fruitful,important and practically indispensable. The contributionsto this volume clearly summarize, in terms of the standardmodel of elementary particles, the present understanding ofhigh-energy physics and present an outlook how to go beyondthis standard model. Phenomenological aspects are stressedoutlining possible extensions of the standard model withmain topics covering higher order corrected electroweakinteractions, CP violation, quark flavour mixing, latticeQCD, and dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking.
