As their story progresses in The Shepherd's Staff, Bill &Elaine Westover with three children, Jennifer, Betsey andPeter move from their successful inner-city ministry toa church in desperate need of revitalization. Throughteaching in word and deed, Bill leads the church inrenewed outreach. Engendering opposition from memberswho are not actually believing Christians and from thedenominational leaders. Meanwhile, Elaine is hired by an attorney.
