Uncertainty plagues each of the three main characters. Although individually, all have suffered losses and setbacks they harbor a strong desire for a brighter future. The two adults, Simon and Claire are stubborn and opinionated seeking to make their own way. Whereas, Jasmine, Claire's daughter searches for greater freedom. Even though Jasmine suffers from a physical handicap, she is determined to rise above her limitations and explore new horizons. Step by step each flounder in their attempts until they find an answer, only it does not come along the path they had envisioned.
