This publication explores the 'space education phenomenon', and how it contributes to STEM betterment by motivating students and facilitating teaching. Contents were grouped in three main sections: (a) space and education, (b) space education at NASA, and (c) state-of-the-art practices in space science education at NASA and the Brazilian space agency.
