Sarcomas are a group of rare malignant tumors that constitute less than 1% of all cancers, arising from the mesenchymal system. About 80% originate in soft tissue (muscle, nerves, joints, blood vessels, deep skin tissues, and fat), while the remainder originate in bone and cartilage. In this book, the authors present topical research on the symptoms, causes and treatments of sarcoma.
