Because I love English and I hate math! replied the first-year college student when I asked her what was going on as an evaluation of her transcript revealed most subject areas completed except for math and science. There was something deep and emotional at work in her words. She it could easily have been a he needed not just help, but a major shift in the way she thought about math and science. Herein is that help. This is a simple approach built from years of college advising, and if implemented, will open the door to another way of working with math, and looking at life. While the book is designed for the college student who has been highly successful in avoiding math and/or science, it does have application in the primary through secondary school system. And, it is also a communication tool that may be used in personal relationships.
