Twenty-four-year-old Carmelo Johnson is in the prime of his liferespected by young and old in his West Philadelphia neighborhood. The father of a six-year-old girl, his preference now is to date and perhaps one day marry an older woman. During his quest for true love, hes supported by three great male friends from college. As Carmelo begins his career as a residential counselor in a youth detention center, his experiences with women twice his age begin to flourish; he manages to capture the hearts of three very accomplished women, but is unequally yoked with all but one. With his conservative mannerisms, Carmelo revives the three middle-class women by being himself and reminding them of their youth. He learns that when searching and dealing with love, he must have someone that simply shares the same values of education, spontaneity, and spirituality.
