He Is My Companion leads us through a journey of finding deliverance and ultimately restoration. It traces the lives of several men in the Bible such as Moses, David, Joseph, and Christ, who experienced hardship and persecution before Gods deliverance and elevation. As God allowed these men to have a wilderness experience and go through a period of suffering, so does he allow it to happen to us. He Is My Companion teaches us the process that God takes us through as he allows us to endure pain, devastation, and ultimately exaltation. It also teaches us how God sheds us of the undesirable characteristics that prevent us from being like Christ, while he promotes character, stamina, spiritual development, and maturity. Each chapter challenges and encourages self-evaluation, aids in understanding, and clearly identifies the stages of promotion before and after exaltation. Finally, although this book is written with the more mature Christian in mind, it may be read and embraced by individuals who desire to grow, develop, and establish a more intimate relationship with Christ.
