Time changes everything but does not change the fundamental feelings of the people of any country or any race.The poet captures these conditions and realities of life and re-creates them in powerful words of rhyme and rhythm--the pain and pleasure, the ecstasy and agony,the delights and despair, the passion ,the disillusionment and the uncomfortable realities of life.Anything and everything under the Sun and the stars is a subject to these poems.A cross-section of the society is well portrayed here.The readers can experience the fading moments of the helplessness and hopelessness of the women in third world countries and the suffering of the marginalised and of the people leading a fragmented life. Nature is illuminated with added beauty and the past is kept alive with nostalgia in these poems.The poet takes the readers through the conflict and confusion of the human mind going through restlessness and loneliness as experienced by the poet.There is a great variety in style and theme and some poems are metrical composition while others are free- verse as happened to the poet.Once you are in the poem ,you experience every word and every feeling and feel that you are a part of the poem.
