These are poems that I have written through the past several years, inspired by God, family, friends and life experience. My mamaw had the first influence on this gift, as my parents noticed that I had several of her habits when I got a thought about something to write about. I almost duplicated two of her poems that had been buried deep in one of her trunks for many years. Amazing as this sounds, this convinced my parents that my gift was definitely Mamaw-inspired. I was often referred to as Little Lelah because of this God-given gift. Here I am today and ready to write and roll with my publication of In His Embrace.
