Surrounded by her close-knit family, she knows that coming home was a good decision. Jill's peaceful world is turned upside-down when she and her dog, Simon, rescue a young runaway in trouble. As she gets to know the child's father, Dave Wilder, Jill begins to welcome the idea of having a man in her life again. Her attraction to the former professional baseball pitcher does not go unnoticed by family friend Roger Dunn. In addition to Roger's jealous attempts to end the romance, Jill's frustration grows when someone from her past begins calling.
