Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The original intention of the compiler was to collect for pleasure, information relating to his ancestry. Though the name of N oblit is comparatively rare, it was found that a number of families existed in this country, bearing variations of the name and not directly connected. As considerable data had been collected here and abroad, during several years of research and correspondence, it was decided to publish the entire collection for the purpose of preservation. With the exception of a few instances, no attempt has been made to arrange the matter in proper genealogical form. This, with the aid of the index, is left to the individual.
