Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. About fifty of the texts of this volume were copied in Constanti nople from tablets which have been retained in the Ottoman Museum. They were copied during the month of June, 1909. In this connection I desire to express my thanks for the courtesies extended me while at work in the Museum by their Excellencies, the late Dr. 0.
