Hadley, and this desire is heartily seconded by the Trustees of Water Street Mission, that you should write the story of the life of our dearly beloved Superintendent and friend, Rev. S. H. Hadley. Will you do this? We feel that of all men you are the one whom our dear friend would have suggested for this work.<br><br>My dear Mr. Smith - I have received your kind letter and beg to say that the request you make of me is indeed a high honour.
