Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The following Book is an exact reprint of an edition now become very scarce, published at Oxford in 1667, with the Imprimatur of Archbishop Sheldon, and Vice-Chancellor Fell, from the original Ms. in the archives of St. John's College. Nothing has been done in the present edition but the correction of the references, and the addition from the Archbishop's Diary, and other sources, of such Notes as the peculiarly biographical character of the Prayers seemed to demand.
