For this reason the author has de scribed with much detail the work of the credit man, the organization of his office, the sources of credit information, the forms he uses to secure this information, and the principles which govern him in the granting of credit. He also discusses at considerable length the development of legislation with reference to credit, and the attitude of credit men toward this legislation.
