Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The rapidly-growing fondness for horseback riding, among ladies as well as gentlemen, has created a large demand for a work on Saddle-Horses. We know of no writings so thoroughly practical and useful, and so completely covering the subject, as the various papers of Col. Geo. E. Waring, Jr., heretofore printed in the American Agriculturist. We have accordingly brought these together in the present volume, supplementing them with a small work by E. L. Anderson, who is in England regarded as a standard authority.<br><br>Any one, lady or gentleman, young or old, who desires to acquire the art of horsemanship, will find all that is required in this book.
