Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. G. A. Boulenger, Edgar Smith, F. Jeffrey Bell, R. Pocock, A. Butler, C. Waterhouse, C. Gahan, Ernest Austen, \v. F. Kirby, and R. Kirkpatrick), under the direction of Professor E. Ray Lankester. Messrs. L.
