Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. After the record has been writ ten, the back of the Kodak, with the door of the slot open, is ex posed to the light (never to direct sunlight, however) for from 2 to 5 seconds if the light is brilliant and for from 5 to 10 seconds if it is very dull; then the door is closed over the slot and another section of film wound into posi tion.
