Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The first edition of trail dust OF A mav erick was placed ou sale in the spring of 1914, and met with ready and instant favor. The edition was but a moderately-sized one, and was completely sold out in a short time. Since then, the book has been in continual demand; but the plates had been destroyed (unknown to the author) and it was necessary to make other arrangements for a new edition.
