Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. In its first battle (first Manassas) it had twelve men wounded and killed. In its second battle, (kernstown) it had thirteen wounded. None of these were killed, but about half of them were disabled for life. It lost one of its best officers in this battle, Lieu tenant Link, who was shot in the thigh, and disabled for life.
