Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. One hundred years ago to-day he died, and upon this day Masons held memorial services at his tomb; and one hun dred years hence, on the return of this day, Masons now unborn will gather again at that shrine and render homage; and thus every century whilst the centuries come and go. Washington at first belonged to America, and his name and fame to the American people. He now belongs to the world, and his name and fame are in the keeping of all mankind.
